In what was termed the 'Clash of the Titans' and the new 'Will and Gareth', Week 4 was a horrible week for viewers to nominate someone. The two bookies favourites were equally liked across the country, and being complete opposites meant that everyone could like something about each of them. babyBROTHER predicted the '12 year old girl factor' would mean that Spencer's good looks alone would keep him in the house, but we were (gladly) proved wrong by the narrow margin of 55% who wanted Spencer out.
We always preferred Alex, although Spencer had his charms and we liked his honest manner, if he was often guarded. Spencer's infamous habits of not washing, farting in people's faces and being rude made him somehow likeable.
His friendship with Kate was touching, and she has now lost two close friends, in Alison and Spencer.
In the end though, Spencer didn't really do a lot, and against Alex who is great to watch, the contrast was made even greater. Against anyone else, Spencer would have won, and he still has legions of female admirers from East Angular to his home of Cambridgeshire.
Spanky, you will be missed by many... we're sorry to see you go.
Our predictions get better and better, with us only failing to guess Adele correctly! We managed to guess at least one of every other housemate's nominations - so hopefully next week we'll be perfect!
We fear Alex is for the chop though, although we much prefer him to dreary Spencer. The reason being Spencer's popularity among teenage girls. Keep Alex in! He's so much funnier!
