The nominations for sandy and Alex came as no shock, as predicted by babyBROTHER, but Alison proved to be a rogue element to our equations... we didn't expect the seemingly popular housemate to be nominated so many times when we began our predictions, but as it came out, we got 4 predictions spot on, and 5 with one housemate right. Coincidentally, it was only Alison we completely misread!
Sunita's replacement is Sophie Pritchard, a 25 year old recruitment consultant from Buckinghamshire, who arrives on Sunday. She immediatly causes a stir as Kate appears to not like the look of the new threat to her alpha-female status. Sophie provokes more feelings in Lee (and probably girlfriend-at-home Carmen too) and he flirts with her as with Adele, who after her lesbian/virgin revelations (is this only week two?!) seems to shock Lee.
Alex manages to incur the wrath of everyone by having a go at Jonny for weeing in the shower, Kate for juggling fruit and just about everyone. Dressing up as a school-girl for jade's School Disco, does nothing to quash those gay rumours, which he fans the flames of himself by saying he 'accidentaly' ticked the 'Bi-sexual' box on the application form. Mmm...
When the 3 nominees are announced, Alison seems shocked, whilst Alex and Sandy take it in their stride. Kate cries at the thought of losing her best friend, with whom she manages to break the outdoor table with when trying to shout at security guards!
The house is rocked by Alison's shock nomination, although Adele and Lee form a perhaps surprising bond with Alex and Sandy.
Jade continues to be as unpredictable as ever, siding with Alex, the Kate at varying points through the week. The house enjoys a school disco theme for Jade's birthday, dressing up and dancing. Kate and Spencer move closer, as do Jade and PJ.
In the outside world, the public faces a tough decision over who to evict, with Alison's majority vote only being a mere 1000 more than Alex's. The girls bitch about Alex's and Sandy's rude comments on hearing Davina announce Alison's name. She does however leave the house with a promise to 'eat all the food'. When she finally leaves the doors, some minutes after the countdown has elapsed, the crowd roars in delight for her.
Little do the rest of the housemates know that tomorrow evening will bring a big change to the house - the bars go in and the house is split in two, a rich and poor side...
