Here at babyBROTHER our two favourite housemates are Adele and Alex, and we're gutted that she's nominated this week. We're very concerned at the misplaced level of hate people seem to have for her, and we implore you to think again if you plan to vote for her. Here's why...
ONE
There is a lot of footage used to show that Adele is supposedly 'two-faced'. If you think back to it, almost ALL of it involves Adele laughing at bitch Jade's comments. Very rarely does Adele make negative statements to anyone but Alex. We think Channel 4 has misrepresented Adele by using this footage of Jade bitching to make out that Adele is the same.
EXAMPLE : Jade saying Sophie 'looks like a dogs dinner' to which Adele laughs briefly.
TWO
Why is Adele back-stabbing for being amicable to people all week then nominating them when PJ who does exactly the same isn't? All the housemates use Big Brother and the Diary Room to sound off in, but Adele is made out to be a witch who ruthlessly nominates people who she talks to? The object of the GAMESHOW is to win by evicting the other housemates - they all have to get on and then nominate each other, not just scapegoated Adele.
EXAMPLE: PJ hating Alex and then loving him once on the rich side... then bitching about him to Jonny.
THREE
Adele is one of the hardest workers in the house, making the majority of meals since Sandy left and regularly cleaning the house in which everyone has to live. She is also a calming influence as she doesn't provoke people or cause arguments. She is the perfect housemate, because she knows when a problem is serious to be brought up and when to just let it lie. In everyday life, we all bite our tongues and let off stem to someone else - because the resulting harmony is worth it. She is also very caring towards the housemates Why evict someone for not causing trouble?
EXAMPLE: Telling Jade that she shouldn't tell anyone she can't nominate - because it would put Jade at a disadvantage others might use to their own advantage. This had no benefit for Adele - she was just helping out her friend.
FOUR
Adele and Alex. they are great together and whether or not they get it on in the house, they are lovely to watch. Bitching is fun to watch - but only for a while. The better moments in the house have come from things that make you smile, the ballroom dancing task, Alex and Adele playing in the pool, Kate and Jonny becoming fast friends after being relegated to the poor side twice, Alison and Jonny's frolics. Alex and Adele have a strong friendship only matched by that of Lee and Sophie, and the feeling of comfortableness between them is far nicer and satisfying that Jade lying to everyone, or Tim whinging. If Adele goes, the funny man Alex will droop, the bitching will rise and everyone will be miserable. Look what happened to Sophie - don't let it happen again.
