Who should win?

Here at babyBROTHER we've never been one to hide our true feelings so here are our views on the remaining 4 housemates and why we think they do or don't deserve to win.

Jonny Kate Jade Alex

Jonny Reagan

JonnyJonny has always been the entertainer of the house, and there are some highly memorable moments that he instigated, such as the 'Jerry Springer' show, as well as just general funniness. But there has always been doubt over how genuine Jonny is. He recently admitted to Kate he hasn't been himself and has wanted 'to chin a few people in here'. Big Brother is a game, so fair play to him for trying to be nice all the time, but we feel Jonny doesn't really deserve to win. He does act up to the camera and there are sometimes small incidents which reveal a more 'real' Jonny that we don't like.
Jonny is sneakier than he seems...For the final nominations Jonny made a show of 'how hard it is now there's so few of us' before nominating Alex and Tim. Yet the day before Jonny had asked Kate if she knew who she'd nominate, telling her that 'I already know my final two'. Plus he had nominated Alex every week but one, so it didn't really seem as hard and painful as Jonny made out. So why did he say that? Because all the housemates know that while they could be shown on TV at any time, the nominations are ALWAYS shown. So Jonny wanted to come across good on camera.
Alex VS Jonny - puppet styleAnother thing we've noticed is that Jonny isn't as forgiving and selfless as he seems. First there was the 'Wee-gate' scandal, which Jonny appeared to want settled and said to Alex that they should both forget about it. So why was Jonny so insistent on playing Alex and including the scandal in the puppet show if he wanted to forget it? Then there's the issue of Jonny's nominations. Seemingly whenever anyone is upset, Jonny uses the 'I've been nominated 3 times' line, as though he has suffered more than anyone and they should feel sorry for him. But what about Alex, also nominated 3 times, Jade, who was nominated by the public, and Tim who heard derogatory shouts about himself. Surely they have the same or worse to fear than Jonny?

Where do we want Jonny to come? We just don't feel Jonny deserves to win for acting up to the camera. He can be funny, but you do wonder whether he is at all like he is at home. We'd like to see him out next.

Kate Lawler

KateIt took us a long time to like Kate, and it was really only after Spencer had left and she was on the poor side that we found we liked her. She does some wicked impressions and is very naturally funny, without having to create highly visible situations for everyone to see she is funny.Kate's impressions are legendary She has remained remarkably level-headed throughout and has shown often in tasks how much she knows about the other housemates. This is almost self-defeating though, as we know little about Kate herself. You rarely get the feeling that Kate is getting a lot from the experience - she keeps her cards close to her chest.
We first saw Kate as a sexually manipulative cow out for herself, latching onto who she perceived as popular men in order to survive, but she has become one of our favourite contestants and we're pleased she has made it so far. It's just there's something missing which doesn't make her stand out.

Where do we want Kate to come?Kate is genuinly funny and likeable If a woman was to win Big Brother, Kate deserves it. She has really been herself and you don't get the feeling she is acting up for the viewers benefit. However, there is something she is missing which doesn't make you root for her. We wouldn't be gutted if she won, but we wouldn't be excited as we were when Brian won BB2. Kate just narrowly misses out on first place. Just.

Jade Goody

JadeWhere do we start with Jade? She has truly been this year's Big Brother phenomenon. She started off way too loud and that was why she got nominated by the public in the first week. However she beacame a love-hate paradox with the nation. She could be so two-faced and yet so charming. We doubt BB would have drawn in so many viewers without Jade and her fantastic Jade-isms:

Jade has been a gem What's sparigus?
Is Tunisia near India?
I thought Cambridge was in London...
Was Lynne Scottish?
Wasn't Mother Teresa married to Mr Heinstein?

Her memorable moments include that shocking strip scene in the lounge, the 'wart' evening, trying to find the other housemates (Cue 'Erm Big Brother I've lost my housemates...) and of course, the infamous PJ incident. She has entertained us for 9 weeks with her antics and you never get the impression that she had a game plan. Having said that though, without Jade there wouldn't have been as many arguments.
Jade sometimes went off at the deep end. Jade was notorious for being friendly with someone one day and then slagging them off the next day. It was as if each day she woke up fresh, having forgotten everything that had happened beforehand. She became very nasty to Sophie and even turned her back on buddy Adele. Jade has quite a temper and sometimes could get really irritating. If we don't hear her 'Baba' voice again it'll be too soon.

Where do we want Jade to come?It was a hard choice, because Jade has probably been the most interesting and entertaining housemate to watch. But we've decided that perhaps she needed to shut up a little more and so Kate just beats her to second place. Jade strolls in at third, but we'd like something good to happen for her.

Alex Sibley

AlexAlex began his stay in the BB house as the resident moaner. He became fanatical about hygiene and was almost universally disliked by everyone but Sandy. But we kept him in the house because it was good to watch. And since they Alex emerged to become the star of Big Brother. He is naturally very funny, his chicken impressions, drunkenly shouting to his reflection of the evils of alcohol all endeared us to him.
Alex has an issue More than that though is his ability to stick to his principles. If he doesn't like something, he says so. He has demonstrated time and time again that he doesn't need constant adoration from the other housemates, he just wants to be himself. But he isn't so arrogant as to not realise when he is wrong. He has sat and told Big Brother how he hates it when he whinges and told Tim he was being mean by picking on Jade. Alex is a man who isn't afraid to know when he is in the wrong. He also argues well, showing with jade that he can be truthful without having to exaggerate.
Alex and Adele Alex and Adele are THE Big Brother couple. Forget Kate and Spanky or Lee and Sophie, these two were perfect together. It broke our babyHEART when Adele left, because Alex was gutted. Adele helped Alex to shine, but he showed he was independent when she left and carried on without her. We think Alex has been the only contestant actually true to themselves to make it to the final week. He is funny, intelligent, sensitive, entertaining and most of all, human.

Where do we want Alex to come? Can you guess? We back Alex with all our strength and pray that he can win despite not having a regional accent which seems to be the reason for Jonny's popularity. Alex has been entertaining, and himself. He deserves to win so much, and we ask you to support him.
