Sunita's Leaving!
Yes, the 25 year old barrister from London has decided that Big Brother isn't for her, and after spending 2 days debating whether to stay, she finally told BB at 8.18pm last night that she wanted to leave the house.
The other housemates were in varying degrees of shock - Kate and Jade were 'gutted' and Alex tried a last ditch attempt to get her to stay, whilst PJ simply asked if she was alright, before falling asleep. Sunita will leave the house today, and she feels a little guilty for spoiling Lee's birthday, but at the same time relieved to leave the house.
feels sorry for Sunita. To leave the Big Brother house is a big thing, even more so when you're leaving of your own free will, you're the first to leave the house and the first UK contestant to leave of their own choice. Sunita must realise this as an intelligent, and in our view, pretty, woman, so to make this decision must mean she really doesn't like the BB experience.
In a way, we should have seen it coming. Sunita is arguably the most intelligent and least 'wannabe' of all the housemates, and she is sort of alone in interest, background and desire. She hasn't clicked with anyone other than Big Brother, who was the first person she voiced her concerns to, and only told Kate and Lynne that she was thinking about leaving after Big Brother's advice.
It's a shame that we'll never get to know Sunita better, perhaps a fault on the part of the producers, who haven't really got a good mix of personalities as they have before. According to best friend Anita, talking on E4's little brother, Sunita wasn't herself in the house at all, and in real life is 'bordering on insane'. To Miss down-to-earth, we wish you luck. You're going to need it.
