After the live task show, Tim will now be spending the next 7 days ALONE on the rich side, with £400 and all the luxuries on his own.
This comes after the majority of the group fail the 're-unification' task.
The task required the housemates to brush up on their knowledge of the house. Each housemate was asked a question by Big Brother about the time in the last 5 weeks. The questions could have been about the housemates or the house itself.
If answered correctly, the housemates got to live on the rich side, if answered incorrectly, the housemate was banished to the poor side. The superb catch was though that if ALL the housemates answered correctly, the divide would be brought down, unifying the house again. However, if even just one housemate answered wrong, the divide would stay. After Jonny got the first question wrong, all seemed lost - but there was still more fun to come...
Any of the new 'rich' housemates could choose to gamble their place on the rich side in a last-ditch attempt to remove the bars. If they got the question wrong, however, the bars would stay and that housemate would have to go to the poor side.
All in all, only Kate and Tim got their questions right, leaving Adele, Alex, Jade, PJ and Jonny(now in his 3rd 'poor' week) on the poor side. Kate really had no choice but to gamble, but Alex and PJ made the point of saying she didn't have to. She chose to gamble however and was called to the Diary Room for the 'killer' question - name the 14 housemates, past and present, in alphabetical order. Kate only got as far as Alex before floundering and forgetting best mate Alison. She continued and forgot Lee and Lynne as well, and from the look on her face, she knew she had already got some wrong. Exiting on the poor side door, the other housemates realised that the divide would stay... and that Tim would be on his own on the rich side whilst the other six would have to shove up on the poor side.
The excitement didn't end there though, with Tim stirring up rebellion in the housemates. He cajoled Kate, Jonny, PJ and Jade into climbing the bars and crossing the divide in defiance of Big Brother. There was a lot of talk, but no-one wanted to make the first move, and the poor-siders went to the Diary Room to ask what their punishment would be. Perhaps hoping for a definite answer, Big Brother stoically replied 'Big Brother will treat any rule-breaking as very serious'. The housemates returned to the garden and Adele and Alex, who weren't all that bothered about the divide and were happy to live with it. Jonny eventually said it was something they needed to discuss, while Tim again vainly tried to get everyone to cross the garden gate.
By the morning however, things had settled and most of the house was happy - but will 'Of course money buys happiness' Tim find a lonely luxury all that great? Let's wait and see...
babyBROTHER thought the task was delightfully hard, which made the potential reward much more valuable. Kate made a hard decision, but in the end, will the divide actually make the house more interesting? With one-time enemies Alex and Jonny now together, will they make peace? And will the packed Bedroom two be full of bitching? And how WILL Tim manage to spend £400 on his own?

BIG BROTHER ROOMS
Big Brother never gave the actual answer but our guess is - 12
Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, Diary Room, Bathroom, Toilet, Living Area, Kitchen, Storeroom, Poor Toilet, Poor Storeroom, Garden(?).
BUT did Big B count the kitchen as a separate room to the living area, and does saying 'in the house AND garden' denote the garden as a 'room'.
