After a week of bitching and nasty behaviour to Marlow-girl Sophie, she and Jade have made things up. Jade's tirade against Sophie had already been spotted by the subdued Sophie, and with Tim joining in, it was as if the poor girl was being bullied. However, a heart to heart with Jade, the two seem at ease with each other.
Jade's change of heart was precipitated by a visit to the psychotherapist, with whom Jade spent 90 minutes with. Big Brother offered the counselor's services as the half-way mark had been reached in the house, and everyone obliged. It caused Jade to think hard, and she cried to Adele as she realised how her 'thing' with PJ might have been seen. This revelation shocked Adele, but Sophie also offered a consoling hug through the bars, which began the 2 hour chat between the girls. Adele tactfully left them to it, joining Alex in the garden.
It must have been a weight off of Sophie's shoulders, as the abuse from Jade and Tim in particular had been rising steadily, to the point where she was almost crying. Ever since lee left, she has been slightly isolated from the group, and loud-mouthed Jade set upon her like a vulture, with her and Tim openly laughing whenever Sophie spoke. In a late-night chat with Jonny, the Marlow-girl revealed she was ready to cry because she didn't understand why she was being picked on.
With Sophie bashing going on all through the house, Sophie had confessed to Big Brother she would be pleased to go.
The psychotherapist gave all the housemates the chance to think about their actions and feelings in the house. Although the sessions are completely confidential and private (not even Big Brother hears what goes on) some of the housemates chatted about their sessions afterwards. PJ confessed that he didn't really feel as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, despite the chat, whilst Adele felt that she had some things that she needed to think about.
Nevertheless, with Sophie's eviction almost guaranteed on Friday, will the peace have come too late?
