Ta ta Timothy!
In a not-really-surprising event, Tim becomes the 8th evictee from the Big Brother house. He took the massive boos he and we both expected with relish, stating later he'd rather there were boos than silence.
Friday was spent rather quietly in the Big Brother house, as perhaps everyone really expected Tim to go. When Davina announced Tim's name, she checked he understood with the soon-to-be-infamous phrase, Comprendez? leaving all the housemates in confusion, including Tim himself!
Tim was met with boos, something he expected, but it still wasn't nice. He didn't really do anything awful and babyBROTHER felt quite embarrassed watching. He didn't seem to mind though, gesturing to the braying crowds, 'Come on then!'.
It wasn't all bad though, and Davina recovered sexy knickers thrown at Tim from the pavement. The look of relief on Tim's face on seeing his girlfriend Joanna was wonderful, as he'd really worried about losing her whilst in the house. Alex's family also cheered for Tim in a very kind manner. All in all he took the crowds reaction very well and in his interview he came across very well.
Although Tim did deserve to go we feel a lot of the press he has received has been over the top. He did say a lot of things which made a lot of sense and in some ways we liked the way he didn't join in with the 'pantomime house'. It was refreshing that he didn't feel the need to be like Jonny and pretend to get on with everyone and agree with everything. He had his own mind and own opinions and we value that. He lost our respect when he ordered Big Brother around in the Diary Room, or lied to the housemates about what Big Brother had said. Humble Tim, after winning the phone call home, or Tim and Alex's banter was great, but he fell back on Arrogant Tim too often. all in all though, we didn't feel he was all that bad, especially if you ignore the constant preening. Just cut it all off Tim...
