Alex and Tim's nomination didn't really surprise anyone, and Tim is almost universally accepted in and outside of the house to be leaving. But just in case there was the slightest smidgen of a doubt, Tim has sealed the final nail on his own coffin. Comprendez?
It all started with the roller disco task. Tim has never been one to really get into the whole Big Brother silly task thing, so it came as no surprise when he moaned about it. Although he moans when they don't have tasks. Does anyone else get the I-really-want-to-leave vibe from him?
Anyway, the entire group decided to go to bed, just after midnight, in the knowledge that Big Brother could wake them in the hour to come. and what do you know, the klaxon went off. Tim decided not to join the group, as he had removed his contact lenses and would have to waste a fresh pair for the task. The group are allowed 3 no-shows, so that was okay. But then Big Brother decided to sound the klaxon again. This time, Tim did rise but went straight to the Diary Room to complain. and then made the mistake he will regret FOREVER...
The awful thing is, Tim DID have a very valid point. If you wear one-a-day contact lenses as Tim does, you only have so many at a time and the Big Brother house is far from being a local Boots Opticians branch, so there is only a limited supply. And to have to waste a pair for less than 5 minutes of a task, twice in one night is unacceptable.
But he could have stayed up right? Well yes, but as the group had gone to bed, he would have been up for an hour on his own, waiting for a klaxon that might not come. Which is discriminating against people with contact lenses. Fair enough. But did Tim explain this calmly and apologetically to Big Brother? No. He REALLY didn't at all.

"Big Brother I've just come to tell you that the two things I've missed will not be counted as no shows"
"You are discriminating against people with contact lenses"
"I think putting contact lenses is a little more important than your silly little task"
The classic quote, though that will live forever, up there with Helen's 'I love blinking I do', was
COMPRENDEZ?
That alone was enough to ensure Tim's eviction. But then he made it worse. After being told the no-shows would count, Tim told the housemates that they wouldn't. Goodbye Tim, you really did this all by yourself! there is nothing we can do to convince anyone of your good points when outweighed so much this evening. Comprendez?
