Tim has seemed very down since he was left on the rich side. We're not exactly his biggest fan, but we're finding ourselves agree more and more with what the boy says.
Tim spent a whole week on the rich side, on his own. Not a nice situation to be in. And almost certainly not one which Big Brother had planned. Tim had also never spent a week in the house without the divide, so when the Iron Curtain was removed, he suddenly had to get used to seeing everyone, all the time.
As well as the worry that G-day was approaching, and the ginger roots were beginning to show.
Then came Adele's eviction. She was one of Tim's few friends in the house and was well liked by all, so there was a lot of shock that unpopular Jade had managed to stay in the house. Then came the 'ultimate sari-farce' task in which Tim saw in PJ's video that his parent were present, but his girlfriend not. Big Brother would not reveal the reason why she wasn't there, but Tim suspected (rightly) that he had been dumped.
So give the boy a break!
What have been interesting though, are Tim's chats with Big Brother. In the last week he has been featured on Channel 4 regularly giving his opinions. He has become detached from the group, and seeks solace with Big Brother, but his commentary is, in our humble opinion, spot-on.
He has seen through obnoxious Jonny (we just hope Britain manages to as well) and made the very good point that 'would a 29 year-old fireman be playing towel fights at home?'. Jonny has played for the camera since the start and is a very shallow man. Despite his protests that he doesn't play up to the camera, he continually comments on events in the house as they happen with an imitation of Marcus Bentley, the BB narrator. If that isn't camera-playing then what is? And we doubt Jonny has towel fights either.
Kate has also been dismissed as too 'easy' which we agree with too. kate can be hilarious, her impressions of the housemates are true comic legends, but she seems to flit from man-to-man. She clung to Spencer, and when he was evicted, moved on to Jonny. Then, AS SOON AS Adele is evicted, Kate makes her move on Alex. She uses her sexuality in much the same way as Mel in BB1. But somehow it just seems fake and a way to keep herself in the house. Up for nomination this week Kate? Well massage Alex's back just in case that helps then.
So Tim the toff may be quite irritating, but in the Diary Room he makes some very good points. But will the general public be able to see past their blind love for Jonny the eedgit and see what Tim is saying. We hope so, or Jonny will win and what a disappointment that would be.
